Before his was King of Norway, Olaf Tryggvason lived a very ignoble life. Captured by marauders as a boy, he was sold into slavery - his captors, blissfully unaware of the boy's royal potential.

Through a miserable upbringing, a deep hatred and fury was burned into his heart. It wasn't too long before that malice came to the surface, though, as Olaf caught his slaver in a crowded marketplace one afternoon.
